Are you interested in learning more about the Labour movement?
The BC Federation of Labour is hosting its Young Workers’ School at Camp Jubilee from September 14 – 16, 2018.
The School is held in a retreat-like environment in the Indian Arm. Participants will attend courses to help them build skills related to the labour movement, political and community organizing, and leadership skills. In addition to coursework, attendees will be able to participate in a variety of outdoor activities and connect with fellow young workers. – source BC Fed website.
You will have an opportunity to meet and work with other young workers from affiliated unions.
Successful applicants will be required to make a presentation/provide a report to the September 23, 2018, General Membership Meeting following the Camp.
If you’re interested, please fill out the 4 page application form and return it to the Union hall no later than 12 pm AUGUST 27, 2018.
