After months of waiting and haggling with City Hall, the building permit for our renovations has been approved!
The building we purchased used to be a vitamin production facility – now we are in the process of building a welcoming reception area, proper offices for full time officers, quiet advocate work areas and a boardroom/classroom for committee meetings and education.
During this time, access to the Union hall will be limited to APPOINTMENTS ONLY. You can still drop off paperwork in person, however, due to the dust and debris, we are unable to allow drop-in visits at this time. We strongly recommend you send documents by fax or mail.
We expect this work will take approximately 3 to 4 months. Once completed, we will host an open house for members to see the new offices.
All officers will still be available by telephone or email.
