IGNITE CHANGE! JOIN OUR DELIVERING COMMUNITY POWER WEBINAR!

Over the last five years, CUPW developed Delivering Community Power – a unique and powerful vision that is at the centre of a sustainable postal system. Other unions around the world now look to this vision for inspiration.

After hearing the proposed changes and policies included in CUPW’s Delivering Community Power, Canada Post has begun to take this project seriously.

Together, we have managed to get an all- union Environmental Committee at CPC. There is also talk of reintroducing financial services such as postal banking.

The momentum for change continues to grow in our country and beyond, and so we must seize this opportunity to solidify our commitment to this vision. With a pandemic shut-down and re-opening to contend with, and racial injustice reaching a boiling point – we must work together for ways to implement a “Just Recovery”, one that takes care of all people, and the planet.

We are rolling out a webinar across Canada to talk about Delivering Community Power. Join us and learn:

  • What is the current context surrounding Delivering Community Power?
  • How can our vision benefit postal workers and our communities?
  • What can we do to reduce our carbon footprint?
  • What can you do to help get everyone talking about it?

This webinar will be an opportunity to listen and discuss strategies to make our mark and encourage the public, our elected representatives, and Canada Post to make change a reality.

As we engage in meaningful conversations about our new collective realities, your elected CUPW representatives, and other key speakers will be available to answer questions and offer ideas and insight. We also want YOU to contribute your thoughts.

We need you to help with this! Together, we demand a just recovery for all of us.
