With Labour Day a few weeks away we are getting excited about celebrating first Labour Day at the PNE.
Join CUPW, the Vancouver and District Labour Council and other affiliated Unions for a fun day at The Fair Monday September 3, 2018.
Volunteers are still needed! We are still looking for volunteers for the afternoon and evening to staff the CUPW information booths in the Community-Partner Booth Zone and Union only area of The Fair.
**There are a limited number of free wristbands available if you are not volunteering. You MUST register with Rebekah Mahar for a free wristband. Those who have not arrived prior to 9:45 will have their wristband given to a waitlisted member. This does not apply to CUPW booth volunteers.
The CUPW volunteer will be distributing wristbands outside the North Door Rollup outside of the Coliseum. They will be clearly identified by CUPW pinnies and a CUPW flag beside the wrist band distribution area.
Friends and families are welcome! Guests accompanying members to the rally will be able to purchase discounted wristbands & ride passes in advance with an online promo code. They must present the printed or electronic copy of their purchased wristband/ticket to Guest Services at the Pacific Coliseum between 8:30 and 10:00 am on September 3, to receive their wristband.
Time line for the day
8:30 am- 10:00 am Pick up wristbands
10:00 am-11:00 am Family friendly rally in the Pacific Coliseum
11:00 am- close Enjoy The Fair, rides, music, booths and the private picnic area.
