We have a schedule of our upcoming Letter Carrier – Shop steward meetings for February – April, 2013.
As union activists, taking the time to learn together, communicate & plan is the key to the work that needs doing for the Union. We have reserved space in the board room at the union hall & are using the same venue downtown that we have used successfully in the past as it has space & is usually pretty quiet in the later afternoon. Both venues are easily accessed by sky train/bus & the Union Hall has free parking outside or near by, the parking meters around 349 West Georgia are not the most expensive & it is a short walk from there to VFS.

Canada Post has mailed a document to postal workers who are at or approaching 60 years of age. After congratulating the recipient for achieving (fill in the blank) years of service the letter goes on to offer some information hoping to entice the reader into retirement.
