The picket lines will come down in the Vancouver Local at 12:00 AM Sunday October 28, 2018. Those scheduled to work will attend as scheduled.

A big thank you to the members of the Vancouver Local, the Affiliate unions that came to walk the line with us, the Retirees that came to join us, the other locals that sent messages and the public for your support.

Ottawa – Members of one of the smallest Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) locals, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, (Quebec) will join their sisters and brothers from the Sudbury and Niagara Falls locals in Ontario, and the Vancouver (British Columbia) local on the picket lines at 12:01 am ET on Saturday, October 27.

Ottawa – Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) from the Vancouver local in British Columbia, walked off the job at 9 am PT on Friday, October 26th, joining the Niagara Falls (Ontario), Fundy (New Brunswick) and Sudbury (Ontario) locals on the picket lines on the fifth day of rotating postal strikes.
