Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the Vancouver local was forced to postpone the 2020 annual election. With no end in sight to restrictions on gatherings and social distancing we need to look at an alternate solution to conduct the 2020 elections. Due to these restrictions we are unable to use any Canada Post facility to carry out our election.
PPC Members Raise Over $5k for Women`s Center!

PPC Health & Safety committee would like to thank each and every one of you for your contributions. With your help, we have raised $5,960 for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center. Many thanks to all who stepped up to help us make this possible. Helping one in need is simply out of kindness and it shows who you are. Volunteers at the PPC and LJOSH committee would like to thank all of you for your endless support in these trying times. Foodora Canada and Delivery Hero Accused of Union-busting

OTTAWA
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers alleges that Foodora Canada and its
parent company Delivery Hero are breaking several sections of Ontario labour law, by closing down in order to defeat a union organizing drive.
APRIL General Membership Meeting CANCELLED

**COVID-19 UPDATE**
On March 16 Canada Post directorship at the Pacific Processing Centre (PPC) contacted the Union informing us that a member had reported testing positive for COVID–19. The Employer also informed us that immediate steps were taken to determine where and when the member had last worked and who had been in contact with the member.
