I wanted to write and say many thanks to your members who give such great service!
A couple of times (one very recently) I have received mail at my home address, even though the address on the envelope was an old campaign office address. I can only infer that your members are so good that they noticed it’s an old address and then very kindly re-directed to my home, where my local letter carrier always does an awesome job.
In the most recent case, the handwritten letter was from an oldtimer from the Downtown Eastside who had used an old campaign office address from Commercial Drive. I know if I had never gotten the letter he would have felt upset and wondered why I never replied. But fortunately for me, your members were very helpful and pro-active, and now I can write him back (and make sure he has our correct community office address on Main Street!).
So this is just to say- THANKS!! I really appreciate and value what you all do (especially in these hard times).
